Hepatitis C is curable–if you know you have it!
Hey Penticton! Stop by Gyro Park on May 5th, 2022 to learn about hepatitis C, get a screening test (it takes less than 20 minutes and uses only a few drops of blood from a fingertip poke!), get peer support, and have some snacks! We’ll also have peer support workers, harm reduction supplies, and naloxone training at the event–and there will be gift cards and SWAG to pick up!
Hep C can be scary or confusing, but knowing if we have it and having support from peers who have been there can help! We can now cure hep C with 8-12 weeks of pills–peers can help us through testing and treatment, as many times as we need!
Meet peer and community workers from OneSky Community Services and BC Hepatitis Network under the tent from 11 am to 3 pm! Everyone is welcome!
